Return & Refund Policy

We offer refunds within 12 hours or 72 hours depending on the nature of your purchase (perishable or non-perishable goods). To understand how our refund policy operates, this policy shall be your guide. Before we proceed, kindly note that an order for food items that have been paid for cannot be canceled on the day of delivery.

Guidelines for Refund.
Refunds due to the unavailability of the food item at the requested time for orders below N5,000 (Five Ten Thousand Naira Only) can only be refunded to your Necofoodhall wallet. This refund can be used to purchase other available items or at a later date subject to your convenience. Refunds due to unavailability of the food item at the requested time for orders above N5,000 (Five Thousand Naira Only) or more can either be paid into your Necofoodhall wallet or your bank account directly, whichever you choose. All refunds for inadequate food items delivered shall only be made to your Necofoodhall wallet. N.B: Please note that Necofoodhall shall determine returns/refunds on a case-by-case basis. The key considerations shall be the availability of that food item, logistics, and the existence of reasonable grounds.
Eligibility for Refund.
Perishable Food Items: Perishable goods shall include but are not limited to Fresh Tomatoes, Fresh Pepper, Meat, Fish, and Vegetables/Fruits. For food items of this nature, returns can only occur within 12 hours after receipt of delivery. The pre-requisite for such a refund shall be an existing complaint which shall be confirmed by Necofoodhall on the unsatisfactory order on the day of delivery. The confirmation of such a complaint shall require picture or video evidence that would guarantee a return or refund. We usually require picture evidence of the complaint to guarantee a return or refund.
Non-Perishable Food Items: This includes but is not limited to Grains (Rice, Beans, Corn), Roots (Plantain, Potatoes), Tubers (Yams), and other dry items (spices). Food items of this nature, it must be returned within 72 hours of receipt of delivery, and refund affected\afterwards. The pre-requisite for this return/refund to occur is a valid existing complaint lodged by the customer within 12 hours of receipt of the food items. This complaint shall be confirmed by Necofoodhall. We usually require picture evidence of the complaint to guarantee a return or refund.
Exempted Food Items for Return/Refund
Any food item (whether perishable or non-perishable) for which a valid complaint has not been lodged within the stipulated time (12 hours after receipt of delivery) and confirmed by Necofoodhall shall be exempted from any form of return/refund under this policy.
Late or missing refunds
If Necofoodhall confirms a refund but you have not received a refund yet, first check your Necofoodhall wallet bank account again. In the case where your refund is sent directly to your bank account, please contact your Bank, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Cost of Transportation of Refund
The cost of transportation for the return of food items shall be borne by Necofoodhall when the food items are defective or the customer has a valid complaint that has been registered with Necofoodhall. However, where the customer has made an initial order and rescinds or changes the order, then the cost of transportation shall be solely borne by the customer.
